2″ Tri-Sure® Nylon Drum Plug With Rubber Vent Out, EPDM Gasket

26W2PV is a a 2″ Tri-Sure® nylon drum plug with rubber vent out and EPDM gasket. This FM-Approved fusible closure features an impact-resistant nylon construction which is recommended for use on drums containing flammable or combustible contents. Fusible closures are designed to reduce the potential of a violent drum failure in a fire scenario by melting before enough internal pressure can build up. Both plugs (both 2″ and 3/4″) must be FM plugs. Nylon offers good chemical compatibility, and the EPDM gaskets provides a reliable, leak-proof seal.

This nylon drum plug can be applied with a Tri-Sure preset torque wrench (Part # 26WTSP). If sealing combustible or flammable contents, use a sparkless Tri-Sure preset torque wrench (Part # 26WSSP).
