The 26W85B is a UN rated (UN1A1/X1.3/250) 5 gallon black tight head steel pail. This pail has a Rieke opening and is lined with pigmented phenolic lining. Typical industrial and commercial products which do not affect the pigmented phenolic lining are acid compounds, agricultural chemicals, insecticides, corrosive chemicals, solvents and solvent containing materials, nitrocellulose lacquers and inks, food products, essential oils and petroleum products. This closed head round bucket is 24 gauge, the strongest and thickest steel pail we offer, providing your product the greatest level of security possible.

Pigmented phenolic lining:
Red phenolic linings are unmodified phenolics and as such, have a high degree of acid and solvent resistance. Not recommended for alkaline products. Pigmented to achieve the red-brown color. The pigment allows for thicker film thickness and is selected when greater protection is required.
