This white pail is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and offers a 5-gallon capacity. This container is fitted with a metal handle and plastic hand grip for ease in transporting pail contents. Featuring sturdy 90 mil construction, this pail is FDA Compliant for food products. This pail is also ideal for chemicals, hardware supplies, cleaners and more. When used with 56WRUI, pail and lid combination offers a UN1H2/Y1.5/30 rating for liquids and a UN1H2/Y30/S rating for solids. When used with 56WRUN, this packaging is UN rated UN1H2/Y27/S.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 145°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
